D-Day 70 Exhibition extended to September

The highly praised exhibition of D-Day activities and Churchill’s visit to Droxford Station in June 1944, has been extended until 12th September.  The exhibition includes a video recording of 26 eyewitness reports of preparations for D-Day in the Meon Valley.

Visit the D-Day 70 Exhibition in Droxford Church and see photographs  of the troops camped in the area, and storyboards about the important meetings between Churchill and de Gaulle.  Find out what else Churchill, Montgomery and Eisenhower were doing in in the run-up to D-Day, and see pictures of the historic Meon Valley Railway.

A DVD of the eyewitness recordings is available (price £15) from Friends of Droxford Church: email to info@friendsofdroxfordchurch.org.uk.
