We want to reassure you all that Wilfrid’s Café will be continuing and is not dependant on the outcome of mediation.

We have reached out to Droxford Community Hub (DCH) with an offer of mediation and are awaiting in anticipation for a full response to set a date.

Update 14/08/25: FODC have offered to DCH a 3 month extension to the termination date of the supplemental licence. FODC have also offered to DCH to enter a mediation process. To date, FODC have not received acceptance of either by DCH. 

Update 2 27/08/25: On Wednesday 13th August, FODC offered to DCH a 3 month extension to the termination date of the supplemental licence. DCH accepted the extension shortly before the deadline. FODC is still awaiting a response to the separate offer of mediation.

We can only comment on factual and verifiable information and we will keep you updated as things progress.
