The heating system is not capable of providing an adequate temperature for the comfort of users and is nearing the end of it’s useable lifetime. It also does not support the target to be carbon “Net Zero” by 2030. Various investigations have been made are ongoing together with exploring various solutions including a recent power flush which gave temporary but immediate partial improvements. None the less, a whole church improved solution is needed. Accordingly, we are actively planning this with other stakeholders to try and avoid the heating failing which would be catastrophic on attendance and user numbers.
