2nd October 2019
The Friends of Droxford Church would like to thank all those who contributed to our Community Hub Appeal for £75,000, which was launched in October 2018. The successful conclusion of this appeal (together with grants from Hampshire County Council, Garfield Weston and others) has enabled us to complete the building of an annex to the Church in Droxford with important new facilities – kitchen and toilets – for our Community. These new facilities will be brought progressively into use in the next two months, to support church services, and community and heritage activities including Wilfrid’s, our volunteer café. Thanks also to all those singers, drummers and bell-ringers who joined in our ribbon celebrations at the Country Fair in June.
To find out more about the plans for Wilfrid’s Café and the Heritage Centre, please join us in the Community Hub on Wednesday 2nd October from 3-8pm– see the notice in this issue of the Bridge
